Champagne Taittinger

The excellence and heritage of the Champagne region.

The domain

With their love and vision for French cuisine, the Taittinger family, at the head of the House for almost a century, has shaped their image according to a permanent quest for excellence.

The Taittinger Champagne house vineyard has 288 hectares of vines, part of which is managed using mass selection using sustainable cultivation. A choice ensuring complexity and a unique personality of the wines, the production of which is carried out in the purest Champagne tradition in the estate's Gallo-Roman chalk quarries.

Their emblematic vintage, Comtes de Champagne, owes its name to Thibaud IV, Count of Champagne in the 12th century and great wine lover, to whom it pays direct homage.

The region

Traveling through the Champagne region, one cannot help but be fascinated by its landscapes. From the Marne Valley to the Montagne de Reims, the very famous champagne route runs through the kingdom of pinot noir.

This vigorous and generous grape variety, at the origin of the birth of Champagne, as well as Chardonnay  and Pinot Meunier are the main grape varieties of this region's wines.

Such diversity is at the origin of the disparity of soils, guaranteeing exceptional quality.
